NORTH WING RESIDENCE AT UNIVERSITY PLACE

Winston-Salem, NC
2011 – 2015

North Wing Residence at University Place is a renovation of the existing boiler and laundry rooms of Winston-Salem’s old downtown City Hospital, converting this previously unused space into 12 affordable one-bedroom apartments for low income seniors. The project is designed to achieve LEED for Homes Silver Certification, employing energy efficient HVAC systems, water efficient plumbing fixtures, and low VOC paints and sealants. It will also have a rooftop terrace.
