THE VILLAS AT CHRISTIAN VILLAGE

Christian Village Website
King, NC
2013 – 2015

The Villas at Christian Village is an affordable housing development for seniors ages 55 and older earning less than 40 to 60 percent of the area median income. Offering much-needed housing and services to an underserved population of seniors, the rental development has 38 units in 19 duplexes, all with two bedrooms and two baths. Other universal design features include lowered kitchen cabinets for easier reach, higher electrical outlets to avoid bending, 3’-0” wide doors throughout and entries at grade, one-car attached garages, and patios/porches. The development will include a 1,730 SF community building with a leasing office, a community room, central laundry facilities, a computer room, and an outdoor seating area with a gazebo where residents can gather and socialize.

This project was developed through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program.
