Hybrid apartments were a new concept for River Landing at Sandy Ridge in Colfax, NC. Steele Group held multiple focus groups with future residents, marketing and administrative staff to gather input and educate the community about the benefits of this style of housing. The concept proved to be immensely popular. Two 18-unit hybrid apartment buildings were designed into the master plan and were fully reserved before construction was completed.
The 36 total units feature large living rooms and screened balconies in two- and three- bedroom configurations, along with community spaces in the center of each residential floor and under-building parking for cars and golf carts. The apartments also provide residents with easy access to the community’s golf course and clubhouse.
